My Story

My passion for fitness was sparked at the age of 14 by one simple piece of equipment, a chin up bar. I got this for Christmas and would challenge myself to see how many chin ups I could do each day. To my surprise, after a few weeks I started to see a difference in my arm strength. I decided I would get a gym membership because at the time I was a small skinny kid and was determined to change that. 

 

Working out at the gym became very addictive because I saw results pretty quickly and that inspired me to stick with it. I started watching workout videos and studying nutrition and this led to my desire to study personal training as a possible career. Both my parents own their own businesses and I grew up working for both of them. I always knew that I wanted to follow in their footsteps and own my own business one day. I knew it was important to have a career that I was passionate about so that work would be enjoyable. 

 

 

After graduating from high school, I had a few jobs working for different companies and although I enjoyed the work experience, I knew I would not be truly happy unless I pursued my dream to start a company of my own. I grew up in a Christian household and attended church on a regular basis and wanted to somehow combine my faith into my business. After a lot of brainstorming, it hit me one day that it would be cool to design stylish athletic apparel with a faith based theme. My favorite bible verse is Phillippians 4:13 so I wanted to create a logo that reminded me of the strength we have through Christ. I then started sketching out different design ideas and researched the highest quality apparel options.  
Boom…..Christlike Strength was born in 2022.
